A swag or valance in the kitchen can add color and nice warmth and this swag with small finial is a clever way to solve the problem. These finials are actually drawer pulls mounted with dowel screws so no rod is needed. This works especially well when you have a corner window to cover. The fabric the client and I selected complements the faux walls and the glass “tassel” fringe really completes the look.
